Tongan Language Made Easy

Ako E Lea Faka-Tonga

Tongan is called a VSO language in linguistics, meaning that the verb usually comes before the subject and the object. This is very interesting. English is SVO, it is always a struggle trying to understand the differences between SVO and VSO languages.

I am a great believer in ACTIVE LEARNING and if you really want to seriously learn the Tongan Language then there is nothing better but to start putting together a few sentences and do some translations. You may only want to learn a few words - well there is nothing stopping you from participating.
